Un nouveau mensuel sportif dénommé ’’Challenge Sport’’ a été lancé mercredi matin à Dakar par l’agence de communication ’’Alfa communication’’ dirigé par le journaliste sportif Abdou Latif Diop, a constaté l’APS.

’’On veut participer au développement du football et à l’épanouissement du sport sénégalais. On a décidé d’apporter notre pierre à l’édifice du sport’’, a indiqué lors de la cérémonie de lancement M. Diop, par ailleurs directeur de publication du mensuel.

Dans l’éditorial, il souligne notamment que le mensuel veut traiter de manière ’’professionnelle et dévouée, l’information sportive dans toute sa globalité’’.

Dans ce premier numéro de ’’Challenge Sport’’, on peut lire une interview de l’international sénégalais de Manchester United et nouveau pensionnaire de la Tanière, Mame Biram Diouf qui déclare : ’’Nous allons changer le visage de l’équipe nationale’’.

S’expliquant sur cet article, le directeur de publication indique : ’’on a essayé à travers l’interview de découvrir le vrai visage de Mame Biram Diouf’’.

Pour son premier numéro, le mensuel donne également la parle a l’ancien joueur du Jaraaf des années 1970-80 Moussa Diop ’’Quénum’’, de même qu’il s’intéresse au combat de lutte du 21 mars entre Balla Gaye et et Modou Lô.

Tiré à environ 5.000 exemplaires, le mensuel sportif s’étend sur 52 pages en couleurs. Il est vendu 1.500 FCFA.

’’Nous ambitions d’être hebdomadaire dans le futur’’, a souligné Abdou Latif Diop, ajoutant que son magazine se veut panafricain mais avec une focalisation sur le Sénégal.

La premier numéro de ’’Challenge Sport’’ sera mis en vente ce mercredi après-midi.
